About Ella's Lucky Charms

Hi there, I’m Ella! Thanks so much for being here!

I started making jewelry as a creative outlet, and it quickly turned into something I genuinely love. Growing up, I was always surrounded by jewelry thanks to my mom, who has an incredible eye for finding beauty in unexpected places. Whether it was vintage pieces, “junk” jewelry, or special heirlooms, she taught me that with a little creativity, anything can be transformed into something beautiful.

That inspiration stuck with me, and after a visit home last summer (and some serious charm digging with my mom), I brought a bunch of supplies to a bachelorette party just for fun. We ended up having the best time making pieces together, and that moment was kind of the spark that made me want to share this with more people.

Outside of jewelry, I’m a full-time PhD student, so my days are usually packed with research and long hours in the lab. This little side project has become my favorite way to unwind, get creative, and make something just for fun. It’s been amazing to see how much people connect with it.
